HALES CORNERS, Wis. (CBS 58) – Due to its popularity, China Lights officials have announced the lantern festival will be extended by a week.
The event will now close on Sunday, October 29 at 10 p.m.
Officials also announced that due to overwhelming response, online and in-person ticket sales will be suspended at 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 19 in order to give current ticket holders a positive experience. Ticket sales will resume on Monday, October 23 at 9 a.m. online only on a limited basis.
China Lights features 50 larger-than-life sculptural lantern displays that illuminate the 10 acres of Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners.
