MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- People will "rappel for a reason" in downtown Milwaukee and CBS 58 Anchor Mike Curkov got to the take the first test run on Tuesday, Aug. 31.
The big week for the MACC fund in Wisconsin continues Tuesday and Wednesday. They are hosting their "Over the Edge" event. People, including Curkov, rappelled down the outside of the 10-story Wintrust Commercial Bank building in downtown Milwaukee while trying to raise money.
About to go OVER THE EDGE for the @maccfund! Ben on the right is a 12-year old from Mukwonago and he’s raised more than $2k! He’s doing it right after me. @CBS58 pic.twitter.com/6VHaizFOGH

Mike rappelled ten stories down the Wintrust Commercial Bank Building late afternoon Tuesday. On Wednesday, a team of experts will be on hand to guide people over the edge about 147 feet.
The fundraiser raises money and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer and blood disorders.
