CBS58's Michael Schlesinger Climbing Great Heights for Arbor Day

Trees get the spotlight on this Arbor Day.  And for the occasion our Michael Schlesinger got up close and personal with a very large Maple at the EB Shurts Environmental Education Center in Waukesha.

His assignment was to climb a 25 foot tree at the E.B. Shurts Environmental Education Center in Waukesha.  Safety was never an issue.  He was all harnessed up and had plenty of guidance on the ground to help.

Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly joined Michael for the climb.  While in the air, the mayor was touting his city as a "Tree City USA" community.  He told Michael 350 trees are expected to be planted this year alone in his city.

By the way, Waukesha has been nationally recognized as a "Tree City USA" community for 36 years.
