MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Carmen Schools of Science and Technology hosted its groundbreaking ceremony for its new $55 million campus on Thursday, Dec. 12.
The new campus will join students and staff from Carmen South and Carmen Southeast high schools.
"The construction of the new building marks a major step to enhance the educational experience," said Ivan Gamboa, chair on Carmen's Board of Directors.
The campus is expected to open for the 2026-2027 school year.
