Car stolen while left running in Whitefish Bay involved in crash due to reckless driving

WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Whitefish Bay Police are again issuing a warning to residents after two vehicles were stolen from the city early Wednesday morning. One of the cars stolen ended up being involved in a crash.

Police say that the lefts occurred in a matter of seconds while the owners left their vehicles unattended to warm up.

One of the stolen cars was totaled following a crash due to reckless driving.

Police say that so far 9 vehicles have been stolen in 2018 from Whitefish Bay after keys were left in the ignition.
