Burlington's Common Council Expected to Vote on Footloose Law

A city in Racine County is expected to change a bizarre law tonight.

It's being called the real life "Footloose."

The city of Burlington requires a permit and police supervision to hold a public dance.

A resolution would repeal the ban.

The city's common council is expected to vote on it tonight.

The Burlington Historical Society says they have no record or why this law was ever enacted in the first place.
