Bucks fans welcome Khris Middleton home and prepare for upcoming season

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - Bucks fans packed Fiserv Forum on Wednesday night for the Bucks 2025-2026 season opener.

The Washington Wizards were in town which meant Khris Middleton was back in town for the first time after being traded away from the Bucks. 

“I was not happy when we traded him last year, I was hoping he'd be a Buck for life,” Bucks fan Matt Honzelka said. 

There were plenty of Middleton jerseys scattered throughout the crowd. 

“Eternally be grateful to Khris Middleton for what he does because you know Milwaukee we don’t win too many championships around here so what he did in 2021 specifically was just incredibly special,” Bucks fan David Nitz said. 

Bucks fans are hopeful for the new season and feeling optimistic. 

“I’m feeling optimistic, we added some good pieces and hopefully it all comes together chemistry wise,” Bucks fan Ryan Evans said. “They’re younger now, they’re more agile, I think they’re going to be a big threat.”
