MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The IRS is giving parents money from their child tax credit early.
That means instead of one lump sum in your tax refund, you'll get up to half of that money in monthly payments from now through December if you're eligible.
Parents aren't the only ones ready for a payout, unfortunately so are scammers.
