Battered Packers Look for Playoff Win against Redskins

The Green Bay Packers will play the Washington Redskins in an NFC Wild Card matchup Sunday at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

The Packers (10-6) earned their playoff spot in Week 15 but have lost consecutive games to close the season.

Washington (9-7) won the NFC East Division title, earning the right to host the game. They closed the season by winning their last four games.

If Green Bay wins, they will travel to Arizona to play the Cardinals in the NFC Divisional Round.

Green Bay makes their seventh consecutive postseason appearance--the first as a wild card team since 2010, when they won Super Bowl XLV.

Cornerback Sam Shields has already been ruled out of Sunday's game with a concussion.
