Early voting begins in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- Governor Evers declared April Sikh Awareness and Appreciation Month .
He delivered the proclamation at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek.
A gunman with white supremacist ties killed six parishioners there in 2012.
April was chosen for the awareness month because Sikh communities celebrate Vaisakhi which is one of the most historically significant days for Sikhs.
