PEWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A final service will take place this weekend inside a Waukesha County church that's been around for more than 160 years.
Agape Community Church, which has used the former St. Mary's Church in Pewaukee for nearly three years, is being forced to move out by the end of August.
Queen of Apostles owns the property, and has decided to sell the site to make space for new senior housing.
"I have family history in this location," said Pastor Floran Docea. "It's interesting how the Lord brings you around to be the pastor of this parish, I absolutely love that. I'm also very saddened by the fact that Christian brothers and sisters would want to tear this Pewaukee treasure down."
Agape will hold services at Pewaukee High School as officials search for a new permanent home.
