KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 7-year-old boy donated gifts instead of receiving them this year.

Kenosha Police Department shared the touching act of kindness in a Facebook post Tuesday, May 19.

Police said 7-year-old Hunter collected more than 100 new stuffed animals and dropped them off at the department. An excellent way to celebrate!

The plush animals will be used by police to help kids who might be going through a tragic situation or having a hard time.

"Thank you Hunter!! Happy birthday buddy," the department said in the post.

Awesome!
