60-year-old dead after being struck by train in Kenosha County

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha authorities are investigating the death of a man found along the Canadian Pacific railroad tracks on Friday, April 9 around 10:00 a.m. 

Authorities say that deputies responded to the area after a railroad worker found a deceased man near the tracks. 

The man was identified as 60-year-old Kirk R. Sax. 

Police determined that Sax was struck by a moving train and are considering that he may have attempted to board a moving train or fell between train cars. 

At this time there is no evidence of criminal activity. 

The investigation is ongoing.
