MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Zoo is getting into the holiday spirit. Youth Groups are decorating more than 60 trees in the Zoo's "Fantastic Forest." Each tree will have dozens of handmade animal ornaments with a tree theme of "Take a Tour Around the Zoo."
Some trees will feature primates, others will have big cats.
The decorations will be up at the gathering place building starting Saturday, December 1.
The Zookeepers also decorate a tree with ornaments listing an item needed for the zoo animals. Guests are asked to take an ornament, buy an item and bring it back to the Zoo.
