Woman Struck by Vehicle that then Fled at 40th and Villard

Milwaukee Police Officers were called to the intersection of 40th and Villard for a hit-and-run around 3:15 PM Wednesday afternoon. According to police, a woman was struck by a car and then that vehicle fled the scene.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and MPD continues to seek the striking vehicle.
