MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A large police presence has shut down Layton Avenue between National and Greenfield Avenues Saturday evening.

CBS 58 crews at the scene observed police tape and multiple law enforcement vehicles in the area.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office also appears to be at the scene. Authorities have not yet released details about what happened or confirmed whether anyone was killed or injured.

Layton Avenue is completely closed between National and Greenfield Avenues while authorities investigate.
