Woman seriously hurt after being pinned between 2 vehicles near 76th and Villard

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 32-year-old woman was seriously hurt after being struck by a vehicle near 76th and Villard Thursday night, July 6. 

It happened just before 9:40 p.m.

Police say a driver was traveling northbound on 76th Street at a high rate of speed when it struck a parked vehicle; a woman was struck and pinned between the two vehicles and suffered serious injuries. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The driver who caused the crash, a 19-year-old Milwaukee man, stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. 

The circumstances leading up to the crash are under investigation.
