Woman hit by car near 60th and Pierce in West Allis

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) – A 51-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car Sunday night in West Allis.

Police say the victim, who was highly intoxicated, stepped into the road and was hit by a car.

The driver of the car was not impaired and is cooperating with investigating officers.

The victim was taken to the hospital with a fractured pelvis and cuts. She is expected to recover.
