Woman Arrested in Sheboygan County Gives Birth Hours Later

The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department tells CBS 58 they had an infant birth in jail last weekend. The mother of the baby had been arrested Friday night for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of meth.
The woman went into labor at about 11:00 AM on Saturday and was transported to the hospital. The baby was born around 9:00 PM Saturday night.
The infant is in the custody of Child Protective Services and the mom is back in jail.
