MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Wisconsin woman who was diagnosed with Kidney Disease at 9-years-old is now advocating for the Living Donor Protection Act, and she's helping other children who live with a chronic illness.
Mary Baliker has had four kidney transplants in her life, and she's written a children's book for kids and parents called “Maria Never Gives Up.”
Baliker joined CBS 58 virtually on Tuesday, Jan. 18 to tell us all about her life, and how you can support the Living Donor Protection Act.
