Wisconsin Pastor Arrested for Burglary of Church Members

On Thursday, October 27 the Barron County Sheriff's Department served a search warrant at 117 E Park Avenue in the Village of Birchwood and took 56-year-old Jon Paquette into custody.

Paquette is the pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Birchwood and is being held in the county jail on burglary charges. 

Police believe Paquette was targeting the homes of church members while they were not home, burglarizing them and taking prescription medications.

The case is still under investigation and police are still determining the total number of houses impacted by the burglary.
