Wisconsin Humane Society Pet Walks going virtual

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society announced Friday, April 17 the annual Pet Walks in Milwaukee and Green Bay are going virtual due to COVID-19 health and safety concerns. 

Pet Walk Green Bay is scheduled for Saturday, June 7 and the Pet Walk Milwaukee will be held Saturday, June 20.

Instead of gathering at a park, WHS is waiving registration fees and asking participants to join them for a digital kickoff online followed by a run or walk through their own neighborhood.

There will be an online marketplace of businesses that support the event.
