CBS 58 WISCONSIN (CBS 58) — The Wisconsin Lottery is bringing back its Wisconsin 50/50 Raffle after players purchased more than 425,000 tickets during the game's debut in 2025.
Last year's raffle generated more than $315,000 in sales and produced a grand prize worth more than $150,000.
Tickets for this year's raffle are available at Wisconsin Lottery retailers across the state and will also be sold at the Wisconsin State Fair, which runs from Aug. 6-16.
Players can purchase one play for $1, six plays for $5 or 15 plays for $10.
The winner will receive a prize equal to half of the game's total sales. The month-long raffle runs throughout August.
"Our raffles continue to be very popular with our players," Wisconsin Lottery Director Cindy Polzin said. "The Wisconsin 50/50 Raffle is an exciting way to engage the entire state, and the most exciting part is, the more plays that are purchased, the larger the winning prize will be."
Each ticket includes a seven-digit number issued in numerical order beginning with 0000001. Players are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets and keep them for the drawing.
The winning number will be drawn and posted on the evening of Sept. 1. The drawing date will not change regardless of how many tickets are sold.
There will be one winner, and the odds of winning will depend on the total number of tickets sold.
