Will Martin announces candidacy for Wisconsin lieutenant governor

Will Martin

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The first Republican candidate is announcing their run to become Wisconsin's lieutenant governor.

In 2026, as we mark 250 years of American independence, we'll also choose new leadership in Wisconsin.

Will Martin calls himself a common sense conservative as a small business owner.

He'll make his bid official at Columbus Chemicals Industries in Dodge County.

Secretary of State Sarah Godlewski has announced her own bid for lieutenant governor.

The seat is open as incumbent, Sara Rodriguez, is running for governor.
