The second round of the fall colors report from the CBS58 Ready Weather Team is here. Last week, only a few locations were starting to rev up their colors around the state. Now more spots, including our viewing area, are seeing those changes in a week’s time. I am sure you have noticed the subtle changes, even in the last week.
The best spots right now for the viewing area are: Milwaukee, Dodge, Sheboygan, and especially Fond du Lac County. Fond du Lac and Taylor County are some of the best locations right now for the changing colors in the whole state.
Over the next week or two, you will see the northern and central part of the state reach peak for fall colors. On a typical year, most of southeastern Wisconsin has to wait until mid to late October to see the peak. Since things are running are little early this season, it could be a week or two early for those peak times.
Remember – the Fall season officially starts Friday at 3:02 p.m.
