MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A double shooting in Milwaukee on Saturday, Dec. 11, leaves a pregnant woman dead, and another man hurt.

Jenny Her, 24, and a 22-year-old Milwaukee man were both shot, around 5:45 a.m. near 41st & Lancaster, according to police.

Jenny's twin sister, Amy, must now keep memories close to her heart.

"We used to fight a lot when we was kids. I'd do anything to just fight with her one more time," said Amy Her.

Amy said her sister was "always happy", describing Jenny, as "the light of the city," "light of her life" and "the life of the party".

"Nobody would be dancing with her. She'll just be dancing, shaking what her momma didn't give her," said Amy as she laughed.

Amy told CBS 58 Jenny was six-months pregnant with her first child, a daughter she planned to name Amya.

But over the weekend, both of their lives were taken.

Milwaukee Police say Jenny, and a 22-year-old Milwaukee man were shot around 5:45 a.m. Saturday morning in the 4100 block of Lancaster Avenue.

The man is expected to recover.

"His phone died, that's why he went outside to his car to get the charger for this phone and when he went out there that's when it happened," said Amy.

Now Jenny's family wants justice, but Amy said there is no conviction that can mend their heartache.

"What I want I can't get, we can't get her back. Whatever the system does, it'll never be enough," said Amy.

Milwaukee Police are not releasing any other details at this time, but they are still looking for who committed this crime.

If you know anything, contact police or give an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS.
