WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Harwood Place Senior Living in Wauwatosa hosted their annual Bridgerton themed tea party Thursday.
Local seniors put on their festive hats and enjoyed herbal teas as well as some sweet treats, inspired by the hit Netflix series.
The event brings a sense of connection to the facility, which one organizer says only strengthens the friendship among residents.
"We have a lot of friendships here at Hardwood Place," Executive Director Sheri Polczynski said. "And it's just a wonderful way for those to come together, celebrate, maybe they talk about their favorite shows- Bridgerton being one of them- while they are interacting and socializing and eating together while they listen to music."
Sheri tells us the focus of Harwood Place is to make it easy for residents to enjoy life in retirement through social events, dining, and wellness programs.
