SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Classes at a Sheboygan middle school are canceled Friday, after the death of a community member on school grounds. 

Horace Mann Middle School shared the closure on social media Friday morning.

According to police, a bicycle accident in the school parking lot led to the death of a 51-year-old Sheboygan man.

An email sent to families of Horace Mann Middle School Friday says in part,

"At no time was there any threat to the school community. Our hearts and deepest thoughts are with the individual's family."
