WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha Police Department is asking for help in searching for suspects who shot out car windows using a BB gun early Sunday morning.
Authorities say it happened between the 1800-2100 block of Kensington Avenue from 2 a.m.-6 a.m. In total, 12 cars were damaged.
Police are asking anyone who lives in the area and has surveillance cameras to contact the department.
One victim who didn't want to go on camera said she didn't hear anything overnight.
"Unfortunately, on a Sunday morning when people should be having a family breakfast or going to church, they're outside with their vacuum cleaners cleaning up glass," Waukesha Police Captain Dan Baumann said. "You become a victim of a crime because kids are bored."
Police say charges or citations will be determined by the total damage and suspect's ages.
