WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58)-- The second act of the 37th annual Waukesha JanBoree promises to be just as exciting as the first. There are lots of free family activities centered around winter fun-- ice fishing, ice skating, and hiking. While you're there, look for an ongoing scavenger hunt as well!

Other activities on the schedule include an ice sculpting competition on Saturday, Jan. 22. There will be a Frosty 5k Run/Walk Saturday morning in Frame Park.  And this year's theme, "channel the flannel," brings lumberjack activities to the foreground.

Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly says the annual event couldn't have come at a better time, and he can already sense a change in the overall atmosphere of the city.

You have to preregister for the Frosty 5k. To do so, and see what the JanBoree has to offer in general, just click here.
