Waukesha church invites students and parents to talk through their emotions

WAUKESHA- About 30 people gathered at the invitation of Fox River Christian Church in Waukesha Tuesday night and it was a healthy mix of both parents and students.

The middle school pastor lead a lengthy discussion that was a combination of airing out concerns and emotions and also coming up with ways to stay unified and feeling good about the community.

\"To come in and talk about it express their feelings,\" explained Pastor Rodney Buck, \"and brainstorm on how we can bring healing and be a voice of hope to the community.\"

Several parents said their children have expressed fears that another attack could happen.

The pastor says the church will continue to encourage a dialogue, not just for church members, but anyone in the community who need help dealing with their feelings about the stabbing.
