NOW: Warmth is back and sticks around through the end of February
NEXT:

After some colder days to end last week and a few chilly mornings to start this week, it is back to the warmth! Highs on Tuesday should reach 50 degrees or at least close to it. Wednesday looks even warmer with highs in the low to middle 50s then at least close to 50 on Thursday. Friday and Saturday are a little cooler in the upper 30s to around 40 but still above average for this time of year.

Even though the weekend starts off a little cooler it is right back to warmth on Sunday. Next week has a really good chance to see the 50s and maybe even 60! The Climate Prediction Center gives the state of Wisconsin a 70-80% chance for above-average temperatures for the last few days of February through Leap Day. Average highs to end February are in the upper 30s but we are easily talking 40s if not 50s to 60 to end the month.

The first 19 days of February have already been mild. So far the average temperature is 34.5* which is the second warmest start to date. The current warmest start to February is 1882 with an average temperature of 37.4* but with consistent warmth on the way to end February we likely make a run at that top spot.
