NOW: Warmth and humidity increase ahead of our first good chance for rain in weeks
NEXT:

After dealing with the lake breeze all week long we finally get a southwest wind on Thursday that warms everyone up into the mid 80s. With some clouds and rain chances Friday and Saturday temps will be a bit cooler with highs in the upper 70s to around 80. A lake breeze returns next week pushing temps into the 70s.

Thursday will still be very comfortable with dew points mainly hanging out in the upper 40s throughout the day. By Thursday night the humidity will start to increase and Friday and Saturday look sticky and muggy. Dew points both of those days will stay in the mid 60s.

We stay dry on Thursday but there will be a few more clouds than then rest of the week, still lots of sun though. After midnight Thursday night the rain chances will return with scattered showers are storms likely by Friday morning and continuing off and on all day Friday through Saturday morning.

All of southeast Wisconsin, and most of the state, is under a Level 1 Marginal Risk for severe weather with a Level 2 Slight Risk in place for counties near the Mississippi River. Widespread severe weather is not expected locally but some strong to severe storms are possible with some gusty wind and small hail.

This will likely be our biggest rain in over a month. The last time we had a soaking rain over a quarter inch was the end of April. Rain totals from Friday morning through Saturday midday should reach at least a half inch for most areas and some as much as 1.50".
