Waiting on A Little Rain to Get Us through This Week

With rainfall deficits more than 5.3 inches, we still are in need of any drop we can get from Mother Nature.  And it looks like we have an opportunity for at least something after Tuesday.  A cold front will move in from the Upper Midwest on Wednesday and "hang around through at least Friday morning.  Scattered showers and forecast, with perhaps some thunder, especially on Thursday.

The timing looks best for the late morning hours through the afternoon on both Wednesday and Thursday.  We could also see showers on Friday as the front actually moves through the region.  In all, a few tenths of an inch could fall.

Behind the front, temperatures will drop to seasonably cool conditions with highs in the upper 50s for the weekend.  At least it will be dry.
