As the clocks go back, we can move forward with some milder temperatures
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee is set to be the stage for a variety of activities as we enter the middle stretch of September. Ian Thompson with Visit Milwaukee joined us Thursday, Sept. 12 to provide a preview of what's ahead on the weekend calendar.
Near West Fest will take place Friday, Sept. 13 at Davidson Park. The event, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Near West Side Partners, will feature a happy hour, local vendors and a family movie night.
Oktoberfest 2024 at the Bavarian Bierhaus begins Friday and continues through Sunday, Sept. 15 at Heidelberg Park. The event will include traditional German food, music and a midway for children.
China Lights: Year of the Dragon opens Friday at Boerner Botanical Gardens, showcasing over 40 lantern displays and cultural performances.
Milwaukee Taco Fest will be held Saturday, Sept. 14 with tacos, pro wrestling and family-friendly entertainment.
