LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two of the children who died in the Lake Geneva boating accident on Friday have been identified by family members. According to a GoFundMe created by their father, 6-year-old Caleb and 7-year-old Abigail tragically died after a severe storm on Friday capsized a boat with 10 people on board, killing three children.

Brad Oswald, father of the two children, wrote their "hearts are broken beyond words" at the loss of the brother and sister, described as best friends.

Caleb, Oswald wrote, "had the sweetest heart and a smile that could brighten anyone's day," finding "happiness in the simple things, and his laughter and excitement were contagious."

Meanwhile, Abigail was "full of personality and had the quickest wit of anyone we knew," dreaming of becoming a teacher, as she "was kind, loving and wise beyond her years."

The two kids were on a boat Friday afternoon when authorities say "a sudden and severe storm" created wind gusts up to 100 miles per hour.

The boat was driven by a 47-year-old man who reportedly had "extensive boating experience." As the conditions worsened, authorities say the driver tried to find refuge. But the boat was hit by two large waves, causing it to take on water. The boat was then hit by another wave, causing it to roll, capsize, and send everyone into the water. The boat then sank.

Officials say all kids on board had proper fitting life jackets, but three were found inside the sunken boat and pronounced dead.

The Wheaton, Illinois School District confirms Abigail and Caleb were students there: "Our deepest condolences are with the family and friends of the children...we ask that you join us in supporting these families during this difficult time and keep them in your thoughts as we all cope with this incredible loss."

The other child who died in the accident was a 10-year-old girl. The Batavia, Illinois School District confirms she was a student there. Her identity, however, has not been released by authorities or her family.

The Oswald family, in their GoFundMe, say any donations made will be given to a children's charity in honor of Caleb and Abigail, to maintain "their legacy to be one of hope, compassion, and helping others."
