The Twitter account for University of Wisconsin-Madison was compromised Wednesday morning. Several rogue tweets were sent out including some that included vulgar language and curse words.
The UW-Madison Media said that they were aware the account had been compromised and were working with Twitter to restore it.
UW-Madison Police also put out a tweet saying the twitter account would, "be back to its awesome self soon."
