Two-vehicle crash leaves 7-year-old seriously injured in Kenosha County

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash which left a 7-year-old seriously injured.

It happened around 6:22 p.m. near Highway Q and Highway U in the Village of Bristol.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a Volkswagen sports utility vehicle was struck from behind by a Dodge pickup truck.

The Volkswagen's driver and a 7-year-old passenger were injured as a result of the crash.

The driver of the Dodge pickup truck was also taken to a local hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
