WisDOT joins CBS 58 with updates on road projects
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A lot of people have a few drinks on St. Patrick's Day, and that calls for a safe drive home.
Molson Coors is bringing back free rides on Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) buses next Tuesday, March 17. The program is a pretty big success, providing more than 11,000 rides in the Milwaukee area on St. Patrick's Day last year.
"The free rides program makes it easy for everyone to enjoy the celebrations without the hassle of figuring out how to get home, or even where to park," said Steve Fuentes, CEO and president of MCTS.
CBS 58 was joined by Alison Hanrahan, community affairs manager with Molson Coors, to tell us more about the free rides program.
Rides on all MCTS routes St. Patrick's Day will be free from 6 p.m. through the end of service.
