Two teens, woman arrested for four Subway robberies in Milwaukee and Wauwatosa

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) – Two teen boys and a 20-year-old woman all from Milwaukee have been arrested in connection with four recent robberies to Subways in Wauwatosa and Milwaukee.

Wauwatosa Police say around 7:20 p.m. on September 17, officers responded to an armed robbery that happened at the Subway on W. Capitol Drive. The suspects got away in that robbery. Two days later, on September 19, officers were called to another armed robbery at the Subway on W. North Avenue around 6:30 p.m.

Wauwatosa Police along with officers with the Milwaukee Police Department were in the area at the time of the second robbery and officers were able to apprehend two male suspects after a foot chase.  Police say they also found a BB gun thrown by one of the suspects during the foot chase.

The Wauwatosa Police Department says they arrested a 16-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy, and a 20-year-old woman, said to be a driver, in connection with the two robberies. It's also believed they are responsible for two other Subway robberies in Milwaukee.

Charges in all four cases will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
