Two Taken by Flight for Life after Alcohol Related Crash in Racine County

On Sunday, December 20, at 7:14 PM hours the Racine County Communications Center received a 911 call of a two vehicle accident on State Highway 20 near County Highway D in the Village of Rochester.

When police arrived they discovered that a 2008 Toyota Corolla driven by a 52-year-old male, was traveling westbound on Highway 20 and crossed the center line. The Toyota collided head on with a 2005 Ford Escape driven by a 61-year-old female traveling eastbound on Highway 20. Both vehicles suffered severe front end damage.

Both drivers were transported to Froedtert Hospital via Flight for Life and at this time it appears both drivers suffered broken legs. There were no other occupants in either vehicle.

Police say alcohol could be a factor in this accident.
