Two Dead and One Wounded in Two Shootings Wednesday Night

Two shootings on Milwaukee’s north side have left two women dead and another seriously wounded.  The shootings occurred just 15 minutes apart and only blocks from each other Wednesday night.

According to the Milwaukee Police, around 11 PM officers were called to the area of N 28th and W Center Streets where they found an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound.  Despite the life saving efforts of the Officers and the Milwaukee Fire Department, the woman died at the scene.  MPD is seeking a suspect in this incident.

At 11:15 PM, MPD Officers were called to the area of N 33rd and W Hadley Streets where two women had been shot.  According to the Police, a 45-year-old woman died at the scene and a 25-year-old woman was found with a serious gunshot wound.  She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injury.  The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation, but according to MPD, a person of interest is being sought in connection with the shooting.
