MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- You know the old saying: "You don't have to get ready if you stay ready."
That's the case for the Brewers as they held a workout at American Family Field Tuesday, awaiting the winner of the Cubs-Padres wild card series.
The Brewers played a simulated game and worked on specialty situations.
"Got a nice day off Monday," centerfielder Garrett Mitchell says. "Got the body right again and back at it again, getting ready."
Game 1 of the NLDS is Saturday, Oct. 3, in Milwaukee.
