Two arrested for staging crash at Brown Deer Lanes for insurance purposes

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Brown Deer Police were called to Brown Deer Lanes bowling alley just after midnight Sunday morning for a report of a car crash in the parking lot.

When police arrived, a woman and her boyfriend said that the man that rear-ended them fled north on foot.

After police reviewed the surveillance footage, they determined the crash was staged. The woman later admitted to staging the crash for insurance purposes.

Both the woman and her boyfriend were arrested for obstructing.
