Tubing season begins at Packers' Titletown
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Ariens Hill in Titletown is set to begin the tubing season at 4 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 8. This year’s tubing hours and admission prices are available at titletown.com/events/recreation/tubing.
Titletown also is debuting new activities as part of the Winter Jubilee including:
- Mindful Mondays: a free yoga class on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. emphasizing balance, strength and relaxation.
- Art Pop-up: all supplies are provided for free art projects offered at 46 Below each Tuesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. throughout the winter.
- Sounds of the Season: an opportunity to experiment with basic instruments like ukuleles and hand percussion on select Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m.
- Game Night: take a break from the cold and try new board games at 46 Below from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings.
The festive holiday fun continues with the new Titletown Ice Lounge now open, free of charge, for visitors daily, with “Drinks on Ice” available at various times on Thursdays through Sundays.
The Winter Jubilee Light Show at Titletown takes place most Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings until December 31. The family-friendly presentation – projected onto Lambeau Field’s outer west façade – features a dazzling blend of holiday-themed lights, music and special effects including animation, lasers and fireworks. The seven minute show plays every half hour from 6 to 9 p.m.
The holiday events will culminate in Titletown’s inaugural outdoor New Year’s Eve celebration – Titletown NYE hosted by WIXX – with extended tubing and skating hours, interactive entertainment for all ages, live DJ and a midnight countdown, complete with fireworks, leading up to the new year.
Winter Jubilee events are open to the public and are complimentary unless otherwise noted.
