MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A trial date has been set for Dalquavius Ward, the man charged with the June shooting death of off-duty Racine Police Officer John Hetland.
The 26-year-old suspect appeared at his arraignment Wednesday morning and pleaded not guilty to all charges, including first-degree intentional homicide.
Officer Hetland was shot at Teezer's Bar in Racine while trying to stop an attempted robbery.
Ward's trial is scheduled to start February 3, 2020.
