MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – If your internet signal is lagging, there are certain steps you can take to strengthen the connection.
It may seem obvious, but experts say location is everything when it comes to having a good internet signal.
According to Consumer Reports, it is important to keep your router as close as possible to your devices.
If the router is in a bad spot, you can buy an Ethernet cable to run to a more central location. It’s also important to make sure there aren’t any major obstacles between the router and devices.
Experts say move the antennas on the router and if it doesn’t have any, rotate it.
