Thompson Strawberry Farm in Bristol to open two locations beginning Tuesday, June 8 🍓

BRISTOL, Wis. (CBS 58) --- Strawberry season is back! Thompson Strawberry Farm in Bristol is kicking things off on Tuesday, June 8.

The popular strawberry farm will have two locations this year. They plan to only have one location open per day. Officials say hours will remain the same, but where they are open will depend on the day of the week.

The new strawberry farm is located only one mile west of the home farm. The home farm is on Highway 50 and will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. The new location is on the corner of MB and K and will be open on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

According to the farm's website, the weather has been perfect for the strawberries so they hope to start picking picking around the middle of June. There are pre-picked strawberries at its stand this year.

Its sunflower season will begin around the beginning of July and should run until the middle of October.

The farm is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Officials say to always check their website the day you come to the farm for updated picking conditions and locations. Prices can also be found on the site.
