CASCADE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Visitors can see a team of eight reindeer, walk a reindeer with a handler or watch Viking reenactments at the second annual Reindeer Village at SoLu Estate in Cascade, according to organizers.
Sophie Sommer, events manager at SoLu Estate, and Jilane Kostreva, owner of The Aurora Acres, joined us Tuesday, Nov. 3 to chat about it all, from new activities this year, what the event offers, food and drink options as well as more need-to-know information.
Reindeer Village runs Saturday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Nov. 15, featuring reindeer sleigh demonstrations, educational talks, ice sculpting, music and dancing, vendors and photo spots. Children can complete a story-themed scavenger hunt for a prize and build a toy with Santa.
Walking a reindeer with a handler is limited and must be booked.
