Thirteen fire departments respond to fire in Saukville

Thirteen Wisconsin fire departments responded to a fire in the Town of Saukville at 4365 Blueberry Rd at 1:09 pm.

The fire caused extensive damage to the structure, however, all occupants of the residence were able to evacuate safely and no injuries were sustained.

Fire departments from Fredonia, Waubeka, Belgium, Port Washington, Saukville, Cedarburg, Mequon, Grafton, Newburg, Silver Lake, Random Lake, Cedar Grove, and Oostburg responded and assisted with extinguishing the fire. Cedarburg Emergency Government also responded to assist with traffic control.

The cause of the fire has been ruled undetermined, but not suspicious in nature.
